It's been a month??

Opps.

Well it's been another exciting month in the world of Courtney. Work, moving, work, friends leaving...work. I'm sitting at Starbucks right now on the Internet because I moved into a flat without Internet. How? I'm not really sure how. I did start shaking when I found out there wasn't Internet.

First of all, I moved into a flat on Berrylands Road which is ohhh down the street from work in one direction and Surbiton train station in the other. Score. I'm still moving in and boy is my room a mess, but soon I will clean. One day. Maybe when I get Internet and can stay in my room for more than 5 minutes without wanting/needing to google something. I have four other room mates (2 English, 1 Polish and one Greek girls) It's like the International House. I like the girls though...well of what I have seen of them. Everyone does their own thing and haven't had more than a 3 minute conversation with really anyone. I've been there less than a week so it's all good. The landlord is a member of the club which is how I found it. Kat, one of my co-workers, send me a text with his number and said that he had a room available. I jumped on it since I was getting sick of looking for a room and finding nothing good. I actually found this one place I liked but it had a live in landlord who was about a week from giving birth. Me in a house with a new born?? HAHAH! I would kill someone since I've become the world's lightest sleeper.

Work has been good. I broke the coffee machine (so proud of myself) and worked three parties in one week. Can you say exhausting?


Really though nothing has been going on in August. Just work and dissertation fun. Basically done with the dissertation which is good since it's due on the 20th. I have a feeling I will be turning it in before then though.

Well maybe September will be more exciting. Who knows?
