A Day With Jenn and Arthur

So today was fun, Jenn and Arthur came and spent the day with me. Jenn actually woke me up this morning around 10:45am saying they were on the highway and they would be here in like an hour/ hour and a half. Or that's what I think she said, I was more than half asleep, but I got up, showered and got dressed.

I don't even know the last time I saw Jenn, probably not that long ago, but it was so awesome to see her again. We came up to the suite for a few minutes, I introduced them to Kathleen and Amaya, and then we left. We just spent the day in Kingston, walking around. We went to a pub, Druid's Head. The pub was alright, I got a Caesar Salad with chicken but I don't know where the salad dressing was. Um oh well, the chips were good, and it was awesome to be with them. I think we talked about everything, and the news I heard about transportation in Germany is not good. Monica and I are planning on going soon, and I asked about how is the best way to get around, and they said a car. Not good. Oh well, I'll do more research. Flying was suggested.

Jenn was entertained by the mall, well the Bentall Centre. It's like four stories, and has everything. That's where the Disney Store is. We didn't go into any stores, that would have been really dangerous, but Jenn just gaped at all the shoes, the dresses and the pocketbooks. It was funny.

We went to the Chocolate Cafe, which I've been meaning to go to since Amaya first showed it to me, but I never have, and they have this drink called, "Cold Chocolate" I thought it was like my Frozen Hot Chocolates, it's not, but it's still good. If it was more like my Frozen Hot Chocolates, I would go poor so quickly. So we had that, and we talked more. It was so fun. Haha, and I'm betting they will read this, because they said they would, so if you want the true story on how I thought the day went e-mail me. I'm just kidding.. haha. I had a complete blast, and I think they did too. Jenn loved all the shops. It was crowded, and we complained about how the British do not have methods to their walking. It's slow and they cannot pick a side.

I cannot wait to visit them and go to the American grocery store. They have Mac and Cheese, Chips Ahoy and a whole isle of cereal! SO EXCITING! And of course I came back here, and figured how to get to them, and YES, there is a train from Kings Cross to Ely (that's where they are moving to)!! So exciting, and it's like 13 pounds one way... must find out about roundtrip. It takes like an hour though, well once I get to Kings Cross. I always love an excuse to go to Kings Cross though.

So that was my day. It was so much fun, I loved showing them around Kingston, and I said that we should go to London because I am getting very good at the city.
